Is it possible to mine with this card? the answer is hell yes, iam mining with this cards at almost 24 mh with simplemining overclocking the memory. The range goes from 1400 to 1850 depending on the type of 1060 you are using, if you are using the 2 fan version you can make them work with the higest OC but if you have the single fan you can overclock them up to 1400 in the memory. This way using simplemining Nvidia version you can get 24 mh which is very decent and this cards are still available on the market.

How many cards are you running? Just the one? I just ordered a 3 gb and am mining on a 6gb gtx 1060. After doing research i guess you get the same from both cards.

They mine the same, the only difference can be that 3gb ones wont be able to mine ethereum after dag increases but probably will be mining other currency by then

Hi,
I have a few rigs of GTX1060's and I was going to move them to Simplemining.
I did some tests and found that I could get a 6GPU rig mining at 140Mh/s on SMOS but it was unstable.
Are you getting 24Mh/s and also stable?

Yes, if you start overclocking 1800 and if unstable or bad shares go down in 50s, until you find stable and no bad shares, I found that point at 1400 overclocking on simplemining. It is very stable.
