Este increíble descubrimiento se le atribuye a un agricultor llamado Yang del valle de Xi’an en China, quien descubrió los guerreros de terracota mientras buscaba agua en el año de 1947. El emperador Qin Shi Huang´s mando construir estos guerreros para que lo cuidaran en el más allá. Se dice que fueron creados por al menos 700, 000 personas que trabajaron en ellos día y noche de manera forzosa y después fueron enterrados frente a la tumba de Qin Shi Huang´s, aunque dicha tumba aun no ha sido encontrada. Los guerreros son únicos uno a uno, tanto en sus rasgos como en sus armaduras.
