I have just signed up after reading the white paper and the blue paper. Steem seems to be a genius idea. However, I don't like the fact that you can buy "reputation". Then, again, your vote to curate content doesn't really depend on your expertise, but if you decided to put in those 100 bucks... Am I missing something?
