I wasn't too big into Pixies when I was a young guy learning gitbox, but lately I've been listening to them a lot. "Wave of Mutilation" is pretty rocking. Their whole deal is pretty rocking but always a little more dissonant than a lot of other artists, which leads to cool tunes.
The Pixies are still rocking. "Indie Cindy" is an amazing music video, and "Snakes" is cool to. Indie Cindy is pretty heavy showing what presumably is a murder.
Two of the the Pixies most well known songs are "Gigantic" and "Where is My Mind" which was featured in the cult classic fight club--but we can't talk about it.
My favorite song by them is "The Happening" it has some awesome vocal and isntrumental haromonies. "All Over The World" is also pretty cool.
