Learn Guitar: Common Interval Patterns: 1, 6, 4, 5

in guitar •  7 years ago  (edited)

Today we will discuss a common interval pattern used in various genres of phonographs ranging from doo wop to pop and other ones to.

In the key of C ionian, the chords that would be used in the 1, 6, 4, 5, would be a C maj, an A min, a F maj and a G maj. Essentially a major for the ionian, lydian and mixolydian modes with an A min chord for the aeolian, 6th interval.

To solo to a song using the interval pattern in reference in the key in reference, (C Ionian) one could use an A min, or any other of the modes in C ionian.

Tomorrow we will discuss another interval pattern and then a few more. Then I will release new videos about melodic and harmonic modifications to Ionian. And then maybe a few episodes on interesting chords and sounds then other interval patterns. And then I want to remake everything at a better quality and put on a website.

Thanks for your attention!!

thanks, what did you like about it?

I am not good at playing the guitar, but he looks very professional, I think.

cool recommend adding more content to your comments because some people downvote comments like your initial one since it can be put to any post--that is if you want a chance to succeed at steem.

Ah, really? okay. Thank you for your kindness. :)

I don't care and you still small, just trying to let you know. If you want to maximize the chance someone upvotes your comment then also add meaningful content, lots of ways to try to profit maximize, but the more spammy less meaningful the more likely the time you spend is a waste

Its very nice post i like it

thanks, but I am skeptical you mean that since your comment can be for any post, people downvote this kind of meaningless commen t

Guessing you are back home. Hope it was a great vacation. You might of seen I posted requesting the bid bots to add some code to stop accepting bids at some cut off so it doesn't go to a negetive ROI. Doubt they care but one never knows. Maybe a few are working towards that.

Yea it was amazing, yea looks like there are some that dont accept posts under 20 min now.

I think you are demonstrating a Chord Progression.
Intervals are the number of steps between the notes of a scale.

yes it is indeed also a chord progression, but trying to help people notice the connection between intervals in the modes and what the appropriate chord to play would be to remain non dissonant with the modes
