Hello friends! I'm going to give you my take on the Pegasus humbucker by Seymour Duncan.
I put one of these pickups in my Epiphone Les Paul, and it's one of the most balanced pickups I've ever tried. Crystal clear highs, tight lows, and the note articulation and definition is outstanding. When you play complex chords with a lot of gain, the clarity is just amazing. I know Seymour Duncan designed it this way, and it lives up to the hype.
Now, this is considered a medium output pickup, so it may not work for some extreme death metal styles, but for everything else it's perfect! I think medium output pickups are fantastic though, lets you use more of the amplifier gain to dial in your sound. I give this pickup a 10/10! It's perfect for blues, rock, most metal styles, and everything in between.
