I'm happy to have the ukelele with me, despite the string issue. I'm sad I couldn't bring my guitar.
When I travel with little money, and need to access wifi/hang out for awhile/get things done, I like to go to a local pub, nurse a beer for hours, meet people, and get my internet access needs taken care of.
I am now sitting in the second place in 4 days that has a house guitar, so I am very happy.
Gold Cane, in San Francisco; I love you. Random place in Santa Barbara, I love you too!
Faeries and fine friends everywhere. Magic is everywhere.
When I travel I miss my guitar. I have taken a ukulele on some trips. If it's a cheap one then I don't have to worry too much about it getting damaged. I've heard of hotels where you can hire a guitar for your room. I don't expect my employer would send me to such cool places
