Tristemusette by Roland Dyens

in guitar •  7 years ago

Tristemusette was written by French/Tunisian composer, Roland Dyens in hommage to French guitarist Marcel Dadi - the first ever foreigner inducted into Nashville's Hall-of-Fame. Marcel Dadi died in the TWA 800 crash. I only learned of him when I saw his name on the passenger list of that deliberate take down of the aircraft. Despite hundreds of eye witnesses to the missile rising toward the aircraft, the government and media would have the world believe it was an accidental explosion. The tune of Tristemusette is based on Venezuelan composer, Antonio Lauro's "Natalia".
