Saying Goodbye Can Be ... So Fun!

What better way to usher your relatives out the door after the holidays than with a blaring rendition of Deftones "My own Summer" or better known as "Shove It" on your guitar?! :)

But Tuck, I don't know how to play Deftones 'Shove It'.

Don't fret my friend, I have your back with some sweet guitar tabs and a video lesson so that you can learn the song in a short time and give everyone a booming send off as they head back home.

But Tuck, I don't even know how to play guitar or read tablature (tabs) at all.

Tip : To make it sound even better, it's best to get yourself a good set of 13-64 gauge strings (or just get something heavier than what you're likely already playing with in standard E and work your way up). If you have trouble finding them for a 6 string guitar, you can always grab a set of 7 strings and just leave one string off. Many people aren't used to playing with such beast, but once you get used to them you'll start having a lot of fun with songs from bands like Slipknot or any band using Drop C, B or even A. It's also a good idea to pick up some 1mm picks. If you have a spare guitar, it's probably best to string it up with these since you are likely to be playing in a standard tuning or drop D most of the time, which your 52's (best guess) will handle just fine. You probably don't want to do this if you have just one guitar. ;)
