GUITAR TUNERS.... THE MANY CHOICES...............

This is where it begins, with my beat up old Korg guitar/bass electronic tuner. I can't tell you how many times it has been dropped, and it still keeps on working........wasn't that the Timex commercial?????
This tuner is very accurate, it works on guitar and bass, and you can set it up to do steps off of standard tuning and you can plug in if you want! This is my quick go to tuner if I break a string and need to tune quickly.

Now before someone jumps in here and tells me I need to tune by ear because my batteries/ tuner might die...........I will say this

Number 1. I have 2 stage guitars........ Not going to break both......
Number 2. I have this same tuner in BOTH guitar cases.... LOL
Number 3. I really tune with this tuner below live on stage :)

I love this stage guitar tuner, it's the Snark pedal direct by-pass tuner. It is made out of die cast metal, so when ( at church ) I throw this tuner across the stage.............. it won't break LOL :)
Everyone in the band is warming up, including my awesome drummer who's drum kit is right behind my right ear....but being plugged in the tuner doesn't hear anything but MY guitar.

Now to address the purest who want to tune by ear.
I have very good hearing, I can tell you when I am out of tune. I have never seen one person that after tuning by ear and then comparing there tune with a electronic tuner was spot on. Now you take your little bit off tune with the Bass player and you take your little bit off tune with the electric guitar and then the acoustic guitar, you now have a pettie-coat junction band.
I also have very dear friends, and I would never hurt their feelings that wear a hearing aid/ or are just hard of hearing and they tune by ear. ????

So guitar players, get one of these or any brand, just tune that guitar!!!!!!
