구미시를 대표하는 금오산은 다양한 문화재를 품고 있으며 수려한 자연경관을 자랑한다. 그중에도 도선 선사가 득도했다 하여 붙여진 도선굴은 낙동강, 해평면의 냉산을 한눈에 조망할 수 있어 등산객들이 꼭 거쳐가는 곳 중 하나이다. 등산이 목적이 아닐 경우 케이블카로도 이용이 가능하다. 테마가 있는 동락공원은 야경을 감상하기에 좋다.
