Guns N’ Roses is an iconic American rock band formed in Los Angeles, California, in 1985. Known for their raw sound, energetic performances, and rebellious image, they played a major role in revitalizing rock music in the late 1980s and early 1990s.
Their debut album, Appetite for Destruction (1987), became a massive success, featuring hit singles like “Welcome to the Jungle,” “Sweet Child o’ Mine,” and “Paradise City.” The band was led by vocalist Axl Rose, guitarist Slash, and bassist Duff McKagan, with several lineup changes throughout their career.
