First Look At The New Ruger PC 9 Carbine

in guns •  7 years ago  (edited)

Hey folks, this is the new Ruger Carbine chambered in 9mm that is in high demand right now. A couple of the reasons for the popularity is because it has a Glock magazine conversion kit and the other is because it breaks down so it can be stowed away in a backpack very easily.

Ruger implemented a custom tungsten dead blow weight that will shorten the bolt travel which they claim will reduce the felt recoil.

The rifle sports a 16" chromoly, cold hammer forged barrel.

The receiver is milled from aerospace grade 7075-T6 aluminum billet with a Type 3 hard anodized finish on it. There's also a picatinny rail on top of the receiver as well as one under the for-end of the stock.

The bolt is heat treated chromoly steel which is really nice.

The rear sights are adjustable ghost-ring or peep sights, while the front are the bladed type.

The rifle comes with sling mounts, 2 Ruger magazines, Glock conversion kit and a threaded barrel protector.

My video goes in to more detail about the weapon and also shows how to break the rifle down.

I hope you guys enjoyed checking out the the new Ruger Carbine! Hopefully I will be able to get some footage of breaking her in some at the range soon! I appreciate everyone for taking the time to check this out. Feel free to follow along with me on this Steemit journey as I have many stories I want to share with you! And with warmer weather approaching, I'm sure I will have plenty of boom-boom videos to show! @bluelightbandit

When I was younger. I loved having a gun with me all the time.
As I got older. That part of my life left me.
I love to go into gun stores and look even today though.
Maybe I have become domesticated. Ha
I did appreciate the video and all the information you was telling us about.
It seems like a real nice rifle. We will watch when you shoot it in the next video.
Thank you

Francis
