Don't downplay the danger of guns. If you're a real pro-2A person, the danger of the gun is the reason why we should have it.
If we spend too much time talking about how .223 (regular AR-15 rounds) are banned in several states because they're too weak to reliably bring down a deer, we're working against our rights to weapons that would allow us to challenge the state.
If somebody makes a factually incorrect statement about guns, correct them. Just don't counter in the opposite direction.
The Second Amendment is supposed to make Biden's statements about needing an F-15 to challenge the government wrong. We're supposed to have guns that are big and scary enough to shut that narrative up.
Arguing that our legally avaliable guns aren't dangerous is, at best, playing the short-term game. It's also usually factually incorrect to downplay the lethality of guns. It's also gonna bite us in the ass when we start winning.
