Recently a new Korean Exchange was launched in beta. With Bittrex and Kakao partnering for the new Korean exchange means it really is big. The newly launched exchange is UpBit. The exchange will have more than 200 tokens tradable with BTC, ETH etc... The exchange is letting the pre-registered members test the beta.
Matchpool
With this being said, Guppy(Matchpool) will be one of them to be listed on the exchange. Guppys are a tokenised asset of popular know community-based blockchain MatchPool. It is a platform for users and people with similar kind of interest come together. It's a pool of similar interest people. You can create groups interested in Music food, cryptocurrencies... Basically everything. You can create the group and make it paid or free. It's up to you. The platform was launched in April this year. And along the road, it has been quite a good community.
Guppys in term of market trade have been doing good. They currently have a market capitalisation of over $10 Million. The volume of trade also suggests that the tokens are in demand. The average volume averages around $600k daily. In terms of BTC, it is about 100 BTC. Having a good trade volume reduces the fake price as the buyers and sellers create the market.
The tokens are currently being traded on Bittrex, Liqui, HitBTC, YoBit and some more exchanges. But the point here is that it is listed on the major exchanges. Below is the graph from Coinmarket cap showing the price chart of Guppy.

What difference does it make if the token will be trading on UpBIT?
Cryptocurrencies are taking the world in a blink. With more people being aware of Digital currencies, it grows the possibility of going mainstream. Since Korea is also getting to know about cryptos and the crypto based communities, Guppies make a good deal by getting into the new Korean exchange UpBit. Guppies marketing team and rest of the devs are very active, and this also increases the credibility of the project and thus also of the tokens.
Upbit will grow the potentials of the crypto world in Korea and help take cryptos mainstream.
