I think you can use how today's economy works with the fact that if you have a public a follower base you can sell your products or services to them. It's a form of marketing. I think with a gym it could be the same. Creating a community and a follower base. In this way people will be really connected to your gym too. And you can sell your products to them to to make them feel even more part of the community.
