Sundarban National Park, West Bengal
Sundarban National Park is a National Park, Tiger Reserve and a Biosphere Reserve in West Bengal. This UNESCO world heritage site is known for its rich Biodiversity dense mangrove forests which acts as a natural barrier saving the habitats from flood and cyclones. It has the largest reserve of Royal Bengal tigers and salt water crocodiles. Sunderban was declared as a National Park on 4 May, 1984.
