I've gotten used to refreshing my browser whenever something goes glitchy on the Torum platform (e.g., stale notifications, wallet balance post XTM mission claiming, etc.).
That means, when/if the current bugs finally get resolved, I'll have to unlearn a very strong "auto-refresh habit".
This brings me to the subject of this post: "Habits".
Habits take a long time to set in and even a longer time to break.
They can help you achieve great things at a faster rate; or they can sabotage all your best intentions.
Most habits are insidious; creeping into your life under the radar.
This is from the powerful, yet passive form of repeated environmental exposure.
You can use that in your favor; intentionally altering your environment to replace bad habits with good ones.
For better or worse, habits are a part of life.
You can be a slave to them.
Or you can use them to your advantage.
If you haven't read James Clear's blockbuster book, Atomic Habits (hit # 1 on the New York Times Bestseller List), I highly recommend that you do.
In it, Clear explains the significance and power of habits in our daily lives.
But on a more practical note, he spells out in detail what the best methods are for adopting a new habit quickly and painlessly.
Submitted FYI.
May you and yours be well and loving life today.
