I guess there's no need to explain the link between bad habits and sleep deprivation. But we have to approve that also knowing this we ignore the fact. It's because getting out of bad habits is a tough job. If we can't realize and put intentional effort, there's a high chance that we will fail to get rid of the bad habits and thus will continue having sleeping deprivation.
More importantly, we do have some bad habits which lead to catching less sleep unknowingly because we are too used to it, it seems almost normal. And one of these is browsing our phone on our bed, before sleeping for hours. You will hardly find any who doesn't do that. So our realization should come first. And it only can happen when we prioritize self-care and healthy lifestyle over anything.

Don't start thinking about stress and worries while you are on the bed for night sleep. Make room for them during day time to sort it out and practice positive thinking.
Unhealthy lifestyle like having alcohol before bed, coffee, or smoking can do harm to our sleep in the long run.
Scrolling our phone while on the bed. This so harmful, just realize to get over it. It may take time but the time worth it.
However, only fixing these habits will not solve everything about sleep deprivation. Sometimes we may have to go through medication too. So before it goes very late, try to find out what's causing your lack of sleep and thus you can make your life better.
