They were violating the terms of service of Steemit.com, but their account is unaffected on the blockchain and still visible through other interfaces :

While I don't agree with TDO's methods, the documents released so far have been 100% legitimate and full of new information (EG: Flight 93 was shot down by the military) so I can't see it as a "scam".
Hopefully they continue posting to the Steem blockchain.
