I just discovered an article this morning that deals with a phenomenon that I haven't heard about before when it comes to crypto. Of course, one shouldn't be surprised that hackers and thieves stay creative and come up with new ways to steal from others. And yes, that is why it is a quite smart thing they have come up with as they use a technique called crypto-clipping.
The concept I am speaking about is crypto-clipping. It is very easy and straightforward. You copy an address to which you want to send cryptocurrencies. When you copy it, everything is fine. But, when you decide to paste what you have copied, the installed malware will turn the receiving address into something else (a wallet belonging to the thieves). Since you have just copied the address, you might not even notice anything (before you see that the funds never arrive).
That is crypto-clipping in a very short way.
