@haejin is taking a big hit, not from the downvotes though, he was at $11,000.00 pending rewards (pre curation) and now is at $8,000.00 the problem is this is because Steem is down about 30%, so all the flagging isn't hurting him at all. What these guys should do is spend that VP they use flagging, in upvoting minnows so they can get some rewards.

How do you reason that all the flagging isn't hurting him at all? Do you understand how flagging works, it DIRECTLY affects rewards, the only thing that changes is how much his vp is worth depending on how large the pool is at the time. Saying that flagging isn't hurting him at all doesn't make it true. If they spend their vp on minnows the Abuse will continue while the minnows and the votes are worth less directly because of his self voting taking 4% of the total rewards, minnows would get some rewards of a dying and crippled platform at the hands of one user.
If you follow back to when whales were participating in the experiment you'd realize that flagging that kind of abuse directly spreads the rewards to everyone else, and makes everyone else's votes worth more, the best way to spread the rewards is to flag him into the ground, that is all the whales.
What dan is doing is awesome, every downvote the donkey gets brings everyone else's votes up.

Because he's getting the same rewards, that is an easy question, if you think that all he does is for the rewards and he's getting the same he was getting three months ago, how do you reason the flagging is hurting him? In fact I've seen at least one post from one bernie supporter who says he's giving up on this venture because there are no results, and that is exactly how I see it.
Also @dan doesn't have as much VP as he used to have ranchorelaxo has 6 times more.

Flagging is directly affecting his rewards. The reward pool isn't the same every single week, that's why his rewards are the "same". He would be making more without flagging. Flagging has directly hurt him since day one, it has not ever stopped hurting his profits. You see a correlation and that means causation. The results are direct, and NOT flagging him and remaining SILENT while abusers run rampant is not going to help anyone. The reason flagging is hurting him? You might as well ask me the reason sticking your hand in the fire burns. I was asking you why do you think that sticking your hand in the fire does nothing.

Who knows how much he has sitting on openledger/bitshares/blocktrades, plus the gesture itself which brings with it possible supporters. A snowballing would be awesome indeed.

If @dan wanted to be more vocal, he has the power to bring him down very fast. All its needed is one post from him and @haejin is going down, I guarantee you :)
@baah good job explaining stuff :) Thank you !

A post from @dan would probably be flagged for aggrandizement. No @dan is no longer as strong as he was, he powered down a lot of his SP, ranchorelaxo is much larger. You would need something like @misterdelegation to do any real damage. You see you say the reward pool is never the same, but I have been looking at haejin's rewards for a couple of months and they remain about the same the only variation reflects the price of Steem. Sure bernie's downvotes have to hurt him, but if you are making 25K a week and because of flagging you now only make 20K, would that make you stop raping the reward pool?

Did you check out the other account dan has?
The point wasn't what it will take to stop him from raping the reward pool, which you seem convinced that it's impossible more or less or futile, the point is that those flags directly hurt him. If you want to keep pulling figures out of air that's fine, but I will listen to something that I can verify myself, from what I have seen, the numerous posts that are zeroed out and the numerous ones that are flagged paint a picture where flagging isn't marginal at all.

And all of it is his because he also keeps the curation rewards, and it is only this low because Steem is at $2.47 on Steemnow, he can stand a lot of flagging. Remember about three other big whales are flagging him now, since at least 5 days ago.
