@berniesanders - Can you explain to me how this works and why you are working to downvote Haejin? I have done fairly well listening to Haejin and like to continue listening but this has become a huge distraction. To a layman can you explain the benefit anyone gets from downvoting? I am new to the system. Thanks!

True, but at the same time it also wastes their voting power by drawing flags. Don't worry, like I said, my work is just about done here. Others are starting to take care of things so we can even out the load a little bit. Back to having fun, I'd rather be giving out votes in chat or whatever than wasting voting power on flagging some shit posts.

Hey, watch your damn language. If you think @berniesanders is playing SOLO, think again. The Whale-Group has an overwealming responsibility to do what we can to keep the Rewardpool above 750,000 STEEM per WEEK, which is the rewards all bloggers get, which is what? 50,000 active accounts?

Total Reward Fund: 694,111 STEEM (Worth: $2,253,086 internally; $2,172,516 on Bittrex)

As you can see, our users reward-pool has been drained by about 56,000 STEEM... So why is that? Well, the answer is simple - OverVoting!!

I think this story is totally Messy. If upvoting and draining STEEM is a problem now it could be ever in the future with others persons, others @haejin, others Whales upvoting and others @berniesanders downvoting or flagging or making some personal wars in the name of others, so what will happen?
If the mechanism is a problem , is a problem of the developer of this platform and of this system. So they must take the situation in their hand, and fix the problem, doing limitation or something to avoid this messy and wars between people and followers. I don't care anything of all this bad situation... I just learn a lot from people who post contents and i want that people continue to post contents and not wasting time doing wars of upvoting, downvoting and other bullshit of this platform. It seems to me all just whims of nerd children. Be men, put aside this bullshit, and honor your century and what it is making available to us, continuing to publish interesting content, for the good of humanity.

I see the only whales allowed are bernie and his commie crew. Any one gets a little to big. They come to step on them. The Communists run things here. They jump out the bushes and steal people's money just like good commie's do. We must only do it there way. I bought some steem but now using it i see it's a controlled environment. Controlled by self proclaimed leaders who probably walk around at home in steem uniforms with badges and metals feeling important. This is just another social media hell hole. One of the coins that will fail unless power is removed from scum like bernie. I am selling my coins.

so first of all, @berniesanders didn't produce the image and secondly it was the developer of the site/tool where the information came from who reported the bug.

So, are you saying you are calling the developer of tool a liar? Why exactly would he lie and let people think his tool wasn't working properly? People need to have faith in the tool or he might as well just take it down. That would be suicide to lie about.

Who know who is lying and for what in this story. You know for sure? would you be willing to put your hand on the fire? People lie for nonsense, so imagine how much they can lie for money. I think that berniesanders could be lying, or the developer according or not with him, or haejin or some others supporters. This story is the worst ever seen on steemit and if cases like this could happens , there may be other cases like this in the future and is just a proof that the something on this platform is wrong and should be immediately changed by the developers. The fault of all this mess is theirs, because they must not allow it to happen

I've often found some find it convenient to impugn the integrity of others. The developer, who is also a witness, could have chose to sit back and let bernie take the heat. Instead he had the integrity to speak up and clear the air. You choose not to believe the guy who has a solid rep on the platform, that is your choice.

it's a decentralized system the developers don't control what goes on. the idea is to have mechanisms which allow the community to self-police. One of those mechanisms is when whales negate excessive rewards to keep the reward pool more evenly distributed.

the biggest problem here is that too many people are failing to understand how the system works and are expecting that some higher authority will step in and change it all. There isn't a higher authority.

There has to be willingness on the part of the participants to hear and understand how the system works.

I made the same mistake when I arrived. I thought that when there was controversy that the company would step in and resolve it eventually. Took me being told, there is no authority other than what the community accepts as standards.

This isn't the first time this sort of upset has occurred. It is the first time that a group of people are so slavishly encamped around one person and seemingly unwilling to learn how things work.

At the beginning I was irritated about the supposed abuse of haejin. After looking into it, it just all seems ridiculous can we trust Berniesanders with negative 17 reputation? His army of bots and randowhale down voting everything, ridiculous, the comma in the supposed evidence did it for me and his one liners did it for me. So go ahead down vote me see if I care.

Your followers don't want to see you get involved in arguments with trolls as frustrating as it is. His goal is to make you look bad. Don't let him win. We'll downvote him when he posts something negative on your blog. If you ignore him, he'll go away and annoy someone else. Trust me.

Maybe it decreased later due to mass downvotes on Haejin's account...Someone calculated it and it was 2% ... Well it's still one third of it! Or maybe whole site's buggy and the data presented there is inaccurate. But I tell you this... Bernie won't manipulate a image just to exaggerate his point and earn extra rewards in his post. He can always spend SBD to boost his post but he doesn't need to lie to attract attention to his post!
