Whenever it comes to getting those smooth, sleek strands, you always reach out for your hair straightener. But that’s not all that this versatile hair styling tool can do! These days, trends are all about different types of curls and waves- from voluminous curls to kinky tresses to beach waves. And all of these can be easily achieved with your Evalectric hair straightener.
So, I’m going to tell you why you should start learning how to curl with your hair straightening iron, along with a couple of tips on how to get your favorite looks with the Evalectric flat iron.
Why Curl Your Hair with Evalectric Flat Iron?
• Modern- If you’re aiming for more compressed, drawn-out shaped curls, then a hair straightener is a much better tool than your traditional curling iron. Traditional curling irons are better for creating tight, round curls.
• Versatile- Curls with a straightener are versatile as it’s about how you section your hair. Sectioning hair vertically will create lazy, beachy waves whereas sectioning hair horizontally will give you bulky, voluminous curls,
similar to the ones achieved with a classic roller set.
• Long-lasting- Curling irons don’t heat the hair properly as compared to flat irons as they don’t have heat on both sides. Flat irons let you heat up both sides of the hair thoroughly, setting the curls or waves properly for a long time.
• Quick- Creating curls with Evalectric Hair Straightener is efficient and swift, so much that you can curl the entire hair with 9-10 sections or even less.
How to Curl Your Hair with Evalectric Hair Straightening Iron?
• Start with applying a heat protectant to dry hair and comb it thoroughly to distribute the product evenly.
• Section your hair vertically. If your hair is thick or bushy, then section it half from ear to ear and take the clip the top half.
• Take the first section at eye level and place the Evalectric Hair Straightener.
• Lock the hair and rotate the flat iron a little.
• Keep on rotating the iron and slide it along the hair until you complete one-half of a turn with appropriate pressure.
• Before you reach the end of that section, release the Evalectric Flat Iron.
• Twist the curl slightly with your fingers to set the wave, and drop that section.
• Work around the hair and alternate the direction of each curl. Finish the bottom section of the hair and then move on to the top section that was clipped away. Repeat the process.
• Once your entire hair is curled, let it cool for a while.
• Shake the hair gently to blend the curls and spray a sea salt spray to define the shape and volume of the curls.
