Hairshare <---> Whalesare Token Market Now Open on Bitshares/OpenLedger (Plus, How To Earn Tokens!)

in hairshares •  7 years ago

Every part of you is valuable, down to the last strand of hair on your head.

If you are one of the supporters of the Hairshares project, you've received some tokens in your Bitshares account. People that donated their hair, their Steem Power, their Steem Dollars or their time/talents have helped kick this project in a way that I couldn't have imagined.

I promised to help reward you for your efforts and with the help of @jphenderson, @officialfuzzy and the rest of the Whaleshares team, you now have an option to trade in your HAIRSHARE for its big brother, WHALESHARE. They are currently trading at a 5 to 1 ratio.

The Hairshares project isn't a get-rich-quick scheme, for donors or myself. My goal is to help those in need over the long haul. Look for added opportunities to use your HAIRSHARE tokens in the near future. I have a couple of things cooking, but if you have any ideas, I'm all ears.

Here are a few ways to earn HAIRSHARE tokens:

Hairshares Logo/Sticker Contest
@virtualgrowth daily token giveaways
Donate your hair like @lenadr or persuade someone to donate like @patelincho!
Donate SP like @lydon.sipe, @jphenderson or @lindahas
Donate your time/energy helping out like @crimsonclad, @patriot and @officialfuzzy

In fact, the first person to post their BTS username in the Hairshares Channel on Discord will receive 20 HAIRSHARE tokens.

If you're still wondering what Hairshares is all about, you can check out the Hairshares introduction post and my appearance on Whale Tank detailing the project if you have questions.

That's great!
:)

I like where you're going with this.

As I chatted in a Friday BTS Hangout, my daughter's elementary school does Locks of Love every year and about 30 kids donate their hair.

This is a great Crypto for them to begin understanding what Crypto is.

Maybe combining this with GridCoin for all the computers in the school that sit idle over the summer and you start having a way to get deeper down the crypto rabbit hole.

Getting them hooked while they're young.

That sounds awesome @solarsherpa!

I'm a teacher and actually mentioned BOINC/Gridcoin to my IT supervisor. He gave that a hard "NO".

Well, I'm bald so I can't be of any help here.

So many ways to help!

Very interesting friend keep going

That's great! my friend

Excellent idea. I'd like to get my hands on some Hairshares!
