Banda Aceh - Tahun 2017, jemaah haji asal Aceh berjumlah 4.393 orang dan terbagu ke dalam 12 kloter. kloter pertama dilepaskan langsung oleh Gubernur Aceh, Irwandi Yusuf dan juga dihadiri Wakil Gubernur Aceh, Nova Iriansyah.

Setiap tahun jemaah haji terus bertamah, Pemerintah Indonesia terus berupaya agar kuota haji ditambah oleh kerajaan Saudi.
