1/2 Hour Songwrite (Song of the Week) Episode 69: Angel's Wings

I'm really happy to find out that there's still something happening in Steemland. Thank you for the tips on where to get involved, I wasn't sure there were even active communities to get involved in anymore! I've saved up enough to buy some time for blogging for a few months, meanwhile I'm working my day job at reduced hours while I try to get the ball rolling. Have kind of a narrow window to get started up again so I need all the help I can get 😆. Right now I'm still reposting old stuff, but I have some new ideas I'm really excited about. You probably haven't seen me on Hive yet bc I just started posting there too.

BTW...any recommendations on communities/curation projects on Hive?

About the song, have you thought about posting on YouTube or Bitchute instead of DTube, and then just sharing it to the blockchains? I'm going to use 3Speak this time, with a link to YouTube. I liked DTube but I didn't like having all my videos wiped after 3 months or whatever.

Sort Order:

Can you write a song or part of one in 5 minutes? @freewriters is my favorite community. We allow cheating. Go ahead and cheat! curie stops by a lot.

I don't know any music communities, but there are some. If I find it them, I will let you know.

I love freewriters! That's an awesome suggestion. I've been very active there in the past. I even wrote two thirds of a novel with those guys during the NaNoWriMo challenge. Believe it or not I am planning on doing 5 or 10 minute songwrites this go round, and maybe with freewrite prompts, depending on how things go. But I definitely will be using their prompts for fiction.

Thanks again @owasco.
