Halloween: A low budget legacy

October is about to end, and there is no better way of saying god bye than remembering one of it's greatest legacies: Halloween.
And i'm not talking about the custom parties, or going trick or treating. I'm talking about 1978's classical movie directed by the master of suspense:
John Carpenter. This movie brings us one of the most emblematic killer in the "Slasher" gender. Could be hes inexpressive mask, or his favorite weapon: A kitchen knife.
Or maybe his memorable killing methods, be that as it might this movie left a burn mark with hot steel in the skin of collective imaginary inspiring 11 movies
that vary between prequels, sequels and spin-offs. And not only that, we will see how it also inspired the new generation of independent filmmakers whos shorts are not alongside
the next "Fast and furious", but they are terrifyingly good!

Without further ado! Lets see how new ideas have paid their respects to one of the most important killers in the movie history of this and the last century!

In the horror short "BLOOD TRAIL" Directed by A.J. Callens, written by A.J. Callens and Mariano Rueda with Liz Fenning in the lead role, we will se how the murderer (who is a cool
mix between Michael Mayers and Hannibal Lecter), behaves the same way we would expect Myers to. Plus he wears a latex mask, walks super slowly and stears his victims while they
trie to run or die. besides this there's a cool wink to the original "Hallowee" (1978) when the girl hides in the closet like Jamie Lee Curtis back in the day trying to get away
from Myers.
