Halloween or Hallowe'en is a tradition of October 31st celebrations, and is especially celebrated in the United States. This tradition originated in Ireland, and was brought by Irishmen who emigrated to North America. Halloween celebrated the children by wearing spooky costumes, and went door-to-door from neighboring homes asking for sweets or chocolates saying "Trick or treat!" The speech is a kind of "threat" which means "Give us (candy) or we are ignorant."
Here are the creepy creatures on Halloween: ### 1. Vampires (Dracula) ![image]() They will suck your blood. Dracula appears in folklore for thousands of years, dating from the 18th century and 19th century myths in Eastern Europe. It is believed that one who is born with irregular defects or death, after burial, rises again to terrorize humans. Dracula requires human blood to survive. In myth, dracula can be killed by placing a peg of the cross right in the heart.
Ghost (Ghost)
Ghosts, many believe, many do not believe in existence, many have seen, some are never seen. That said, 50% of people believe there are ghosts, many kinds of ghosts, such as pocong, kuntilanak, devil face, wewe gombel, etc .. Even our film industry is all filled with ghost themes.Witches (Wizards)
Myth is better known by the characteristics of a black pointed hat and warty nose. In the past, magicians were considered to have magical powers associated with the natural world. A hunt that reached its peak in medieval Europe and the seventeenth-century America. There are good witches, some evil witches, even now the world is in love with wizards title, where they are good wizards, like Harry Potter or charmed (3 sexy witches).Jin
Literally means something that connotes "hidden" or "invisible". In Islam and pre-Islamic Arabian mythology, jinn are one of the invisible and created creatures of fire. In the presumption that people before Islam came, Jin was regarded as a sacred being, to be worshiped and respected. The people of that period described it in the form of their idol.Werewolves (Werewolves)
This creature will appear at night, especially on the full moon. Like magicians, they were hunted in medieval times and killed. In myth, they are usually shaped like humans in the daytime, but at night will change shape into a werewolf and start looking for prey for his meals.Zombie
zombies are individuals who are already dead, be it their souls being sucked from their bodies or already revived from death through black magic. The Zombie myth comes from a voodoo religion in Haiti, where it still believes that people can fall into empty space just like a walking corpse we see in a movie (without a full body and eating human flesh). An ethnobotanist investigating claims in Haiti invented a poisonous drug that could actually propel the zombie style.Gargoyles
In contemporary fiction, gargoyles are also often described as (generally) races with features of demons, generally horns, tails, and claws. They are said to be the guardians of the building where they are. This fictitious gargoyle can generally use its wings to fly or glide, and is often described as a rock to hide, or unable to turn into stone in one way or another.Demons (evil spirits)
One of the all-encompassing terms for an "evil spirit," the devil can represent anything from evil ghosts or angels falling into Satan's puppets. Like the notion of evil itself, they have ancient origins that appear in folklore and literature around the world.Goblins
Famous in fairy tales, small and hairy, the nature of goblins is more naughty than threatening.
Hi @steemadmin, nice Halloween post. I love monster mythology and you have collected together some fun facts and images.
A friendly suggestion, if I may - when you use images that are not your own, best practice is to provide an image source (URL) under the picture. Likewise when reporting information it is a courtesy to readers to provide a list of sources at the bottom of the post (e.g. Wikipedia, Monster Website X, etc.). This last is more of a courtesy, but remembering to cite image sources is a must.
I am following you now and looking forward to more awesome content in my feed!
Cheers - Carl
