Well, happy New Years, everyone! I hope everyone had a happy, and a safe, evening/morning. We got down to -14, last night. The first day of 18, wasn't much better. Had some slight vehicle problems, due to the cold. Regardless, I'm happy to say that I made it to another year.
The following video, is of me, attempting to operate my HF transceiver, right after the ball dropped. Also, I'm dealing with super cold temperatures, which extremely reduced the capacity of my battery.
I decided to put an old car battery charger into use, and thankfully, it worked quite well.
I hope everyone is warm now, as it is crazy cold here. 73
