The ludicrous hostage exchange.

Throughout most of my adult life, in the discussions about the conflict with Israel, I'm made a conscious effort to take the high road.

Once what happened on October 7th sank in, especially given my personal stake in this, I decided to say not bother with trying to take the high road. Really, there's no name that I can call people on the other side that is vicious enough.

The thing is, a month and a half later, I've found that I'm incapable of going low enough.

The people on the other side are racist to the point that I couldn't imagine before this.

We have hoards of people calling for Jewish blood, for genocide, for the destruction of the only Jewish state in the world, and then they accuse the Jews of (I shit you not) being a racist, genocidal people, and they don't see any problems with their logic.

As we sit in our comfortable, Western homes, Israel is exchanging three Gazan murderers and rapists for each one innocent Israeli child.

Let that sink in.

If you're calling for the death of Israel, and you're not a complete moron, you're supporting a group that is willing to kidnap children in order to get three of their murderers and rapists back.

So, if you're not a moron, you're evil.

I'm still taking the high road compared to you freaking people.
