瓜州古城今何在？

扬州南郊的瓜州古渡，自古以来便是南来北往的交通要冲，也是“杜十娘怒沉百宝箱”故事的发生地。《清稗类钞》：“瓜州旧在（扬子）江中，形如瓜子，故名。唐时与北岸相连。宋乾德间，因以筑城其上，遂恃为滨江一重镇...因地势变迁，至道光时，故城复陷落江心，瓜州乃名存而实亡矣。”
