The Source of Ultimate Happiness

Well, this will be rather subjective, but there is something to be said for the shared sensation of fulfillment that we all tend to have. It seems as if the less clutter and chaos we have in our life, the happier we tend to be. It often doesn't matter what we want to do with our lives as long as we have a clear road to get there. In the future, I will be blogging extensively about my road to minimalist living in its fullest extent, but I feel the organization of one's life is paramount in finding and achieving actual happiness. There is something to be said about the subconscious and the way it is affected by disorganization, and when that simply variable is taken care of, often a sense of tension relief is felt immediately. This has a huge resonance on one's life, and I think it is probably the most important goal to overcoming a great deal of frustration and wasted time. There are often thousands of items we have to our name, and things we can't possibly imagine parting with, and I think this is a clear sign of something much deeper than most of us realize on the surface.

The idea of getting rid of unnecessary clutter in your life gives you the open road to start surrounding yourself with the tools and experiences to get to what you really want in life. If your goal is to become a professional photographer, then it is highly likely that your doll collection that you haven't gotten rid of since you were 15 because of reasons of nostalgia aren't doing much for your goal. Sure, when you walk into your living room, you see the dolls and it makes you think of summers in 1995, but it isn't doing a single thing for your life in the present. It is easy to become lost in our past by being constantly surrounded by it, and a very strict approach is necessary depending on how badly you want your future and destiny to manifest. Minimizing distraction is by far the most important goal to finding happiness, and it isn't dependent on what you're specifically interested in. This is a universal method that applies to all endeavors and works almost instantaneously when applied in it's proper intensity. If you want to start truly stepping out of the monotony of your life that never seems to go to the next page, try going through everything you own today and getting rid of everything that doesn't help support your actual wants and goals. You'll see yourself going forward in no time at all :)
