Compare the fern with the bamboo. When you plant the seed of fern it grown up in a few weeks. And for bamboo you plant the seed, you keep on watering it, watering it and watering it. For first year you see nothing on the surface has come out. The second year again nothing has come out. Like it five year in succession nothing will come out. And all of a sudden the bamboo starts shooting out and within 6 month it has a 100 ft. height. So what was bamboo doing for those five years? Some will say it will do nothing. But actually it was deepening its roots, because for its 100ft it needs such solid roots. If the roots are not strong it’s going to fall over like Sequoia tress (world tallest tree).
We all have heard about Walt Disney. He was such a failure that he was making some cartoon for some church, and only place he had to stay was a rat infested place. That is where he got the idea of the rat cartoon (Mickey Mouse). We have heard the author Margaret Mitchell the writer of the famous novel GONE WITH THE WIND, when she presented the manuscript to the publisher, the publisher wrote on it rejected and letter on it became the biggest successful novel in world history. We hard Alexander Graham Bell he made his telephone and presented it to an investor and the person said, “Take this toy from my table. I am not interested.” When Wright brothers was trying to create their airplane, three days before that in New York Time there was an article in editorial page, “these crazy people and their crazy machine, they are actually thinking they will fly up in a machine, it is impossible only bird can fly.” And three days after we all know what happened.
So many things in the world were rejected as failures, and letter on become great successors. So, rejection means god want to reach the perfection. It will take time. And in this time there will be mistakes, errors, there will be time when we fall. Never get discouraged. See all this as opportunities to learn and to progress. The world may say you are a failure but god will never say it. So there is no such thing of failure it is a constant learning process.
