I don't know what our parent thinks about such matters. But here is my observation,
- After we were born, our parents tried damn hard to keep us happy, to make us laugh, not to let us cry for a moment. They did whatever was needed to make us laugh. But their effort to make us happy in present life decreases slowly as the days move on. Specially when we were 5 years old. The time when school starts. And slowly after 10 years (or less) the effort to make us laugh or happy in present life becomes Zero.
Solvent families just try to keep only the basic rights of their children. - Actually they start expecting happiness from their child. Which is pretty much common for every parent. Like every parent wants their child to be 1st. To get good work, a good education. Maybe it's for the child's goodness, but again it's not possible for every child. Because everyone cant be 1st. So our parents stay sad. Which makes their children sad. And let alone other anger showing activities.
- So after the age of 15(or less) the effort of making their child happy becomes negative which is positive for sadness. Maybe in their subconsciousness, they start making an effort to make their child sad or unhappy in the present time.
Maybe they do it for the good future of their child. The truth is they are ruining the present.
- And finally, only a tiny percentage of them become successful to bring so-called success in their child's life. And other kids stop at the middle of the track and becomes unhappy for the rest of their life alone with their sad parents.
