Appreciation and Gratitude are Different Vibrational States...

I really wish I had learned this when I was younger. Now all I want to do is share this information with as many people as I possibly can. I have been purposing to do that for a few years now, which has resulted in more people getting pissed off at me for telling them. If you are reading this I sure hope I don't piss you off, but I absolutely must share this information with you or I undoubtedlyly will explode.

Abraham & Esther Hicks, Catherine Ponder & Florence Scovel-Schinn Teachings

Over 10 years ago I told God I wanted to Master everything I could possibly master in life in this lifetime. My angels quickly placed the teachings of Abraham & Esther Hicks, Catherine Ponder & Florence Scovel-Schinn in my lap. You should check out their work - It has changed my life. I'll do another post about each of them in full detail at another time. These women are considered pioneers in my book in the area of Mysticism and Practical Living. This is the Year of Integration for me. I am hoping that all that I have learned and absorbed from them synthesizes for me asap!

I will never say that I am grateful for anything ever in my life ever again and here's why...

LOA Message #54

When you feel gratitude, often you are looking at a difficulty that you have overcome, but there is still some of that "struggle" vibration present. The state of appreciation is seeing whatever you are looking at through the eyes of Source...You could walk down a crowded street with all kinds of things that a lot of other people would find reason to criticize or worry about, and you would not have access to them because your vibration of appreciation is picking out for you things of a different vibrational nature.

To Continue...

Furthermore, there's a little ego in "gratefulness". We think to ourselves "Oh, I'm so Grateful I accomplished this because I went through so much to get it." When truthfully you didn't do anything, but it was solely the power vested within you that blessed you with it. You are only a vessel. That's all I have to say about that! You have nothing to be grateful for, but you should show gratitude towards everything that shows up in your life.

I think it maybe depends on how the word feels to you yourself as to how it affects you. I got bored of doing the whole "list of things to be grateful for" thing. I find it much better to just immerse myself in something that I like, whether it's a sunset or a flower or hugging my dog. Sometimes I think people shoot themselves in the foot by trying to make time for all these practices. I love Esther Hicks and I remember hearing her talk about desiring things "lightly" and that is always what sticks in my mind. Great post :)

I am so happy you enjoyed it and I agree with your perspective as well. I make thankful lists and I don't always write them down. Everything starts with a thought anyway. Writing is just another entry point to connect with The Divine One! Happy Hump Day My Friend!

Thank you for sharing light on the vibrational energies behind "gratefulness" and "appreciation". I can see how gratefulness can be associated to a "struggle" vibration, as "appreciation" transmit a state of being vibrational consciousness. We are growing and expanding daily and innerstanding and overstanding the power of words can be the uplift or down hill of our individualized journeies. Thank you for sharing nevertheless the slight pushback you may have received.

We all have different perspectives and experiences with energy...I'm glad that you enjoyed my content. I know that this is a subject not spoken of by most. Happy Hump Day Chica!

And I appreciation your engagement with me on this post. Happy Hump Day!
