Welcome to Episode 1 of the Happy Birthday Project.
Sending out my first birthday card was a little bit clumsy, but very enjoyable. I used my daughters dollhouse card stock and flower kit to fashion a card and matching envelope. It came out a little bit wonky, but me and my children had fun signing our names in gel pens anyway.
The first card was dedicated to my cousins wife who joined the family the same day my son was born.
That same year she became a Christmas miracle for me as she cuddled my baby to sleep all night, giving my tired arms a much needed rest.
I hope our card will be a pleasant surprise for the smiling girl. I also hope that it get’s there on the right day! Timing mail is always a fun bet, but getting mail out on time during the holidays is extra hard.
Our Happy Birthday Project got off to a good start. Celebrating my cousin brought my family out for a beachside walk in search of postal stamps and mailboxes.
We ended up hanging out at the beach and renting some LimeBike’s.
Thank you for stopping by and sharing a little part of my week with me. Episode 1 came at me VERY fast, I look forward to sharing Episode 2.
