How to build a happy life?
That was the question a group of early 20 year old's try to study and have a recipe for their own lives.
They came up with that recipe after a lot of unilinear discussions, and feudalistic deliberations.
Finally, with the logical pursuit, they have come up with the recipe that they want to adopt for having a happy life.
What is it?
Ingredients (in no particular order!).
Happiness.
Find something that gives you HAPPINESS.
Have a mental map of what gets you happiness.
Suspend the right brain to analyze and judge.
There is nothing called RIGHT or WORNG. Or Good or Bad.
If something gives you happiness, that is a great FIND.
Giving 100% of your TIST (Time, Intellect, Sweat and Tears).
If you can find an activity or doing something where you can give 100% of your TIST, you are closer to your happiness.
Some times we are not happy doing something, but have the resolve and the commitment to give your 100% TIST.
The 100% TIST for that activity given for what ever the time you have allocated to do it.
(Quiz: What are the 2 such activities that you can do? Get to it!)
The above two are essential to propel you in your happy life.
If you have not found what gives you happiness or you have not figured which activity you can give 100% of your TIST,
then move to the next ingredient of a happy life.
That is SERVING people.
Serve others to the best of what little you can do.
Be the best of yourself when you are serving others.
Find yourself to have happiness while serving others.
Push yourself to give 100% of your TIST in serving others.
Let's move to the next phase of building a happy life.
FROG (Find. Recognize. Organize to Grow) to have a commercial value of what you are doing, how you are doing and whom you are doing it for.
It has to financially sustain you.
Now, ensure that you boil down to doing IT (the work and the activity that gives you happiness, where you give 100% of your TIST and probably is serving others). Indulge in that activity in a way it earns ENOUGH for you on a monthly basis, possibly for a medium term. The money earned should help you have a standard of living that GIVES you have happiness to you. And in turn, you can give happiness to your loved ones.
If you are making enough money to keep yourself and your loved ones happy doing that ACTIVITY, you found the OASIS of your happiness.
(Quiz: Two questions. One, Have you ever found such OASIS? Two, Have you left such an oasis, once you found it?)
That is the RECIPE for building a happy life!
More power to you, on this journey, Komal!
