Nov 8th, I woke around 2:30 am and turned down the heat, then woke again around 6 am... and rested till around 7... I had menstrual cramps before leaving. I dressed warmly and brought food. I listened to Pawson's "How to Become a Disciple" parts 3 & 4 on the way. I walked my bike to the metro. Weather was around 20 degrees, felt like 13... I checked my email at Longueuil, and Riley had said there would be no one at the bike shop, as no one signed up. (I had emailed her the previous morning that I would be there. I hadn't seen her reply, and assumed that was me signing up.) I replied explaining I had 2 flats, it was very hard to get there, and I had taken the day off of class. When I got there I called her and Tiffany picked up. I explained my situation and stressed it was important I use the time to get as much done as possible, and asked if someone could open the door or tell the security guard he could. She called someone else and called me back, and said it was not possible, that Riley had emailed me yesterday. I explained Riley had said during the training that members could perhaps get the security guard to open the door, but there was no point in talking to Tiffany about it. I asked if I could walk it to the bike warehouse and she said I could. I walked several miles that morning. I met Brett who said he would help me with the flats but had to eat first. I had to change but another girl used the bathroom first. I worked on my flat tires. I was unable to remove one tire despite drastic measures. Brett did not come in to help for a long time. After I had cut the metal chords he came and informed me the tire was still good and I had just destroyed it. He showed me how to change flats. I could not use their parts, but I could use the patch kit. One inner tube was no good. [They put on music. Some was very nice and soothing, and I took notice of it. Brett sort of said, “Aha” and changed the songs to something jarring and discordant. He also spoke to Tiffany in French, saying something about someone having a physical condition that would make them get worse and worse, but it was hereditary. If this was about me, it may mean they don't fault Andrews. It would explain why people were still so comfortable stressing someone who was suffering with concerning physical symptoms. -3/18/20] Back up to lunch time. Tiffany gave me a piece of cake from their party. They mostly spoke in French. Brett asked me where I was from, if I came here for school or "for a change," and then played a funny clip by Jimmy Kimmel of Obama next to Trump’s announcement of a dead terrorist. Fast-forward, I decided it was all I could do. I told Tiffany I could help out for an hour. She showed me a pile of bikes to compact and I did those quickly. I left around 4? and carried my front wheel back to the bike shop. I was a few minutes early. Henry said we could use my bike for the training. He said 3 were coming. Only Anthony showed. Henry gave the training in French. Anthony acted like he didn’t know much. Henry taught on flat tires, and seemed to want Anthony to fix mine despite him having another. Anthony asked me twice if I rode it a lot, where I got it, and if I was going to cut the frayed end of the cable to the front derailleur (twice). Henry took time in the beginning and felt rushed near the end… It would have been smoother if the shop was open to volunteers today. Henry told me I was to pay what I could for the used parts. It was optional, but he said around $9. I paid $8.80 out of my change. [The prices for used parts for members was new to me. I thought it was only new parts you had to pay for. It was technically optional.] I rode the bike a little in the park, and walked it back as it does not have headlights. Some guy ran up asking directions to the closest place to buy beer...

Nov 9th, I woke around 7 and got up around 8... I noticed the back tire on my bike was flat again. It was fine on the several miles I walked it and through the night, but went flat after I came back from the thrift store. I washed dishes and made spaghetti. Lucas heated a drink. A guy who is also a volunteer at the thrift store... gave me a flier asking me to donate the same time as the Mountwood homeless outreach. I saw Lucas come down the hall again when I went back to my room. I got an email from the IRCC this morning. My work permit was approved. Now we will see if it arrives… At 7:56, a guy knocked on my door. When I said "yes" he said "sorry." I opened my door and saw his face. I don’t recognize him. A woman came down the hall saying someone locked keys and her phone in her car. She asked me to call someone. I did and put it on speakerphone, but did not hand her my phone and pulled it away when she reached for it. She said "What's wrong with you? I’m not going to take it." [At first she seemed to really mean it, but then it seemed to dawn on her she could just be some lady grabbing my phone, and was appreciative.] She talked to the man and said I was kind...

Nov 10th, I woke around 2:30 am. Hypertension kept me awake till after 5. Then I woke around 8-9... The Pastor informed the church someone died of a heart attack. The sermon was based on 1 Corinthians 4:1-5 for some reason. [Those verses were about not judging in human courts or by you. It makes sense if Bryan Andrews had been concerned the evidence was going to be published or used in court, but perhaps he changed his thinking that that was about to happen.] It was about being content with your money and faithful with a little… I heated food and saw Will, Claire, and Easton...

Nov 11th, I was woken at around 12:30 am with the person upstairs moving around a lot and my neighbor talking with a woman loudly... I woke again around 4, then 7:30 and up at 8... Ellie came in and did laundry after I took my clothes out of the washing machine. She asked if I had change for a $2 coin. [I had pretty much spent through my cash. Perhaps that could make me nervous.] I sent myself research notes. It was difficult to send attached files or to upload files to Google drive. I did duolingo. On the way back to my room, I saw Kevin’s door open. He was speaking to a man (Colton), I think who was the same one who incorrectly knocked on my door before. I got ready and took the bus. Before class, the professor explained to Kenneth that dumpster diving was a way to get free food around supermarkets. [This was obviously ridiculous advice, but I showed myself to be extremely cheap. It may have been an attempt to encourage me to exaggerate a trait of mine into something that could be criticized.] Emily told me she had a fever and was still congested. She kept touching me and my things and offering me her pencil. I explained she could be spreading germs. The show last night was about life after a pandemic. I had tried to play a "Surviving Disaster" episode on pandemics to see how it should really be done, but the DVD didn’t work. The professor gave me Friday’s paperwork. Today’s topic was about finding jobs. The professor said he emailed me the audio for Friday. A paper was passed around for us to sign up for the next term. He said it was to hold our place, but we could cancel later if we wanted. I helped Emily to understand things, though she had an unnatural amount of trouble, not understanding things that should be common knowledge in her home country. [I suspected she was exaggerating.]

Nov 12th, Last night when I came back I saw Colton by the kitchen. I heated my food and he came in and just stood there a few times, awkwardly looking towards the window. [Given the time this happened, the fact that Kevin had several male friends who were around him could mean they were to be possible accomplices in my rape/impregnation.]... I also remember yesterday Mariah took my seat. The chair was also missing when I did laundry. And Emily asked me questions like, do I live alone, and shouldn’t I be with my family, as if to make me lonely. Last night there was a crash of what sounded like dishes around 2:30 am, and 4 bangs from upstairs around 4:40 am. I woke around 8... At the store there was one lane open with a long line, at first, and many open if you wanted to use debit. I saw the Muslim girl who offered me the credit card before. [A test to see how opposed to credit/debit cards I am?]... I biked carefully in the snow and took the metro... My fingers were cold part of the way… Henry arrived around 3:30 pm. Adrian came a bit later. I found the hole next to a patch. It was very small. [This could mean that I put the patch in the wrong place. I would have had to carefully check it after to make sure I didn’t.] Henry said normally after 2 patches you get a new tube, and recommended I look for one... I also asked for mud guards and a baggage holder. I did not know what I was doing, and eventually Henry had to help me find pieces that fit, orient them, and put them on. We could not find the baggage holder that could connect. I asked him if he could look for another inner tube for me and he found one. I also got several other used parts… I said I loved the bike shop...

Nov 13th, … They didn’t need me for much. I asked about sorting bags and Renee brought me to the clothes section. I sorted those for a while and asked Hannah about whether things being thrown away could go to the homeless. I had set my alarm, but the sound was off, so I went back to the kitchen at 11:09. Mariam and Andrew were already doing salads. I took over and finished. Mariam said she didn’t need me at all next week as there would be no salad… At home, Kevin’s door was open when I went in, closed when I left, and I saw him coming towards me in the hall. He looked at me and smiled... Kevin was in the living room looking at me. He seems to still have what looks like a black eye...

Nov 14th, last night, my neighbor brought a girl to his room who was laughing. Easton spoke loudly with people in the hallway after I went to bed at around 9:15 pm. I woke when my blankets fell off. Then I was woken at around 2 am with the person upstairs walking a lot. I recorded this a little. There were several bangs as I was getting back to sleep around 2:30 am. I woke briefly a few times and got up after 8 am. I listened to the audio the professor sent me and tried to transcribe it… The professor advised I come early tomorrow and work on it with a woman in the office… I checked my mail. I got my bank statement as well as my work permit... I saw Lucas walking the other way on our street. He said hi, getting my attention… Easton was in the kitchen. He left and a while later Colton came in to cook. He said Bonsiour, and spoke in French. Based on gestures he said he was the one who mistakenly knocked on my door, and said sorry...
