It's amazing that I cannot use steemit after HF 20!!!

in hardfork •  6 years ago  (edited)

This Hardfork was the best most wonderful thing that has ever happened in a long time! Now I finally have time for friends and family and choirs around the house!!!

Thank you Steemit!!!

Cheers!

One of the wisest remarks on hf20!

upvoted and resteemed ;-)

Thanks @pagandance. I took a short break, had other issues to adress anyway...

Lol that's a positive take on things. 😁

Actually when the HF hit I just wrote for the other site and did other online earning stuff. 😋

Smart move, your smart @artgirl, I don't depend on internet income now, but who knows, always good to have potential ways to "side hustle"...

/FF

Thank you. I try my best. Lol. I hope my smart moves at anything will earn me millions ASAP. Who knows. :P

Don't forget me if that happens!
/FF

Hahaha, when that happens I will power up and be a whale then curate posts or delegate to Curie. :D

hahaha! great job sir friendly-fenix! with all these posts out there complaining and slamming steemit this is refreshing! lol.

This aint my first rodeo @janton, he he, when these "community updates" happen its better to just leave, at least until the storm is over, so to speak...

/FF

howdy this fine Tuesday sir friendly-fenix! well that is very wise of you and a good way to avoid TONS of complaining and negativity.

What is your situation now, do you have enough rc and voting power to operate as you normally do?

Hello @janton.
Not sure, carefully testing the waters...
=)

/FF

sir friendly-fenix! oh I understand. Well it's a real pain for smaller accounts, I had to buy more steem then lease some sp so I could keep commenting.
And I don't really understand about their new system which they stated was supposed to help newer and smaller accounts but instead has made it almost impossible for those accounts to grow.

But hey, you're a sharp guy. Let me know when you figure it out so I can understand it. In the meantime many new people and small account holders are being driven away, most of them to weku.

Hello, @Janton.
I just hear that people where/are having a lot of problems, like you said, mainly smaller accounts...

So that's why Im taking it a bit easy, just so I don't "freak-out" and start writing "toxic articles" about things I cannot fully understand... It's also a bit frustrating to spend time trying to understand how to use the platform, and then because of a system change, being "forced" to re:learn, it takes time and energy...

Im sure these changes came with a lot of new benefits and difficulties,
Im not in a situation where I can buy more STEEM/SP, unfortunately, I also have a lot of stuff to adress in my "real life", so this is just a perfect way of cooling down a bit on steemit, and maybe not sit in front of the platform for hours re:learning everything "trial-and-error"...

Sincerely

/FF

howdy again sir friendly-fenix! I understand, you don't need the frustration is sounds like so might as well let the new system totally reconfigure.

Did you go over the Weku? Some people really like it over there, I haven't been myself but I can sure understand why people would.

I haven't had problems yet, but I didn't post anything in my blog yet, didn't try using bots or promotion services. Im guessing I will have less power to post, update posts, make comments?

There was a lot of talk about "stopping spam" Im guessing that spam is defined as, smaller accounts making many posts/comments?

Not in favor of the "Balkanisation" of the platform, Weku sounds a bit strange, like for the weak people...

Lets hope I can stay here with all the high-rollers! =)

/FF

Oh no, well I have Bad (Good) news for you then -- the Credits are In! Vacation will have to wait :)

Okay, I hope I can still use this platform, looks like I can reply to comments...

/FF

True that!

I finally had time to actually focus on filmmaking.
Moments like these show yus how dependent / addicted we are to the media...
oh wait, film is a medium too, haha!

Hope you enjoyed your time off :>)

Yeah socialmedia is addictive, internet even worse...
I hope you get time to create cool movies...

/FF

:>)

Yeah! It affected quiet alot of people but it all seem to be well currently. Greater days ahead.

Lets hope you are right @princeemmanuel, Im trying my best to keep the faith in this platform...

/FF

Come back come back Steemit is usable again!

@artopium
I love Steemit, but Im trying really hard to keep the faith in this platform and motivate myself to continue, glad people are saying that the platform is stable again...

I might try to look into some other similar platforms, just to diversify a bit.

Im not sure what motivates the people/wittinesses/whales/Steemit Inc that are behind these hardforks and the changes that come a long with them...

I would like to be convinced that "they" have the interest of users (at my level) at hand...

/FF

I hear ya. Everyone went and signed up to this thing called weku which is the same code from steemit before hf20 and simply renamed. It works exactly the same but instead of steem power you have weku power. Unfortunately the weku coin is worthless and untradeable at the moment. But that didn't stop people from signing up due to hf20. I personally think Steemit may have a couple bumps in the road but we can't expect 1) the technology to work perfectly and 2) the people behind the technology to be perfect. I'm personally very glad that you're on Steemit as you're one of the very few people I know who actually interacts with other people. Stay here if only to help keep Steemit "human". :)

P.s. I've been working on a serious game changer for steemit. I just got to get people to understand why it's a "good thing." But if used properly and if I've designed it well enough, SteemAX will level the playing field and help close the gap between minnow and dolphin.

@artopium
Thanks for the reply, Im sure the hardfork 20 made STEEM/SBD better for "serious investors", and scalability is in demand, I get it, just worried that they forget about "the little guy" in the process...
But I really don't know enough about the STEEM-blockchain to fully understand whats going on behind the curtain, so I don't really feel entitled to complain. Just a bit concerned about potentially not being able to use the platform in the future... I really liked the idea of people from all over the world just coming together, being able to earn some extra crypto means a lot in some places, and I liked that idea, people building something from nothing...

I will look into this SteemAX, it might be smart to join some kind of automated system and become a nice cyborg for the coming post-post-apocalpysis ...

=)

/FF

Lol. I don't think automation is a bad thing for Steemit. I don't consider myself a cyborg, at least not too much. ;) Seriously though, I'm not interested in exchanging upvotes with just anybody. I have discernment which a bot does not have. I think the idea of saying "Hey, I like you and if you like me too we can support each other with a guaranteed mutual exchange of upvotes. It's guaranteed because the Steemit feed is chronological and I follow a lot of people so I might miss one or two of your posts. Automation is also a better way of getting the curation reward you deserve since it can ensure your vote lands close to the beloved 15 minute mark after post creation than a human can. ;)

Facebook has tons of automation and A. I. that it uses to sort posts so people can see what might interest them most. Facebook controls this automation to their own benefit. SteemAX is automation that you control for the benefit of those who've entered exchanges.

Sounds cool man!
So how do you code all these things?
Where did you learn to code?

/FF

That is a very long story my friend. You might have to wait for the book to come out lol.

How is it going?

Im still alive, thanks for asking. And yourself?
Just kind of "conveniently" ran into obstacles in "real life" at the same time as the hardfork happened so, Im taking it a bit cool and calm here on steemit.

/FF

Alive and running in circles. I left Salida and wound up in Crestone just to be disappointed. The town is nice but it is undergoing changes downtown that has dissolved all of the profitable foot traffic. Next summer will be a great time to check it out again. I am Salida seeing if I can find some temp work since my art/tarot isn't selling so hot. I had to beg for a dollar for the first time last night and I am out of weed. Otherwise I am doing quite good. Happy Adventures, @friendly-fenix!

I hope you find some work, its harvest season, so there should be temporary jobs like that right now, if you can handle those type of jobs...
Best of luck @shaman-ra!
