Still, I try to be fair. I'm not sure that it's fair to go after Harris for not doing some of the stuff she says while she's VP.
Ideally, she would never do anything that she said.
Remember what Ben Franklin said of the office of the vice president, "He should be referred to as 'your superfluous excellency.'"
Is it possible that Harris has really been a presidential proxy for the last couple years? I guess.
It's fairly well known that Woodrow Wilson's wife was effectively serving as president after he had a stroke.
Still, that should cloud the role that Harris has actually been playing.
