Arsonist on the Loose in Waikiki Hawaii

There were three fires that were set in Waikiki Hotels in the past week. An arsonist (or arsonists) set fires at:

• The Grand Waikikian
• The Waikiki Beachcomber
• The Alohilani Resort

This type of thing has never occurred but a few of us were talking about how the tensions over the Mauna Kea protests are spilling over into other areas not directly associated with Mauna Kea. While we can't prove that they are connected, and they many not be, however the tensions that are rising in the community are causing these random acts of violence.
