Prior to the premier of Aquaman at the Consolidated Theaters in Honolulu Hawaii, Jason Momoa, his two children, and friends performed the traditional Maori War dance call the Haka.
Jason said, "I’m so honored to play this role because it represents all of us — all of Polynesia. A wise man once told me, we as Polynesians, we’re not separated by land, but we’re all connected by water … the Maoris, Tahitians, kanaka maoli. It’s all one tribe, all one nation."
Jason Momoa is the talk of Hawaii as the excitement over Aquaman is rivaling Auliʻi Cravalho debut as Moana.
