The protests are increasing on the island of Oahu as protesters have caused a gridlock on the Freeway for the second day in a row. They are blocking the Freeway with a coordinated effort of driving cars extremely slowly side by side causing long back ups.
As more people get involved in the protests and start doing dangerous tactics like trying to block the Freeway the chances are rapidly increasing that someone is going to get seriously hurt.
Governor Ige's emergency edict as basically shutdown Mauna Kea to even cultural practitioners. This also paves the way for the National Guard to come in.
