Finally got a break in the weather and got the last of the hay up. Cut, raked, baled and stacked sales in the hay sheds. Now everything is ready for winter. This is one of the alfalfa fields. We grow alfalfa, grass, and a grass-alfalfa mix. A lot of work and care goes into growing hay. But seeing the empty fields and the hay stacks in the shed ready for winter makes it all worthwhile.
