A few days ago I heard on the radio about the opinion of a listener about his hopes to the government of the Republic of Indonesia related to the haze on the island of Sumatra. Hopefully like this “we don't need a mask, but we need the smoke cleared”.
As a listener, also as a Citizen of Indonesia (WNI) of course I am very concerned about the incident now befell the brothers compatriots in the Island of Sumatra and Kalimantan. However, departing from the comments here I see between the clearance of the smog with a mask are two different things.
The mask is a form of first aid given to the Indonesian government or anyone who be a health volunteer for the victims of the haze. In other words, the mask is first aid, first aid, aid the fastest, or fast-moving action that can be done in advance.
While the clearance of the smog is another story which of course have been and continue to be made by the government of Indonesia until today. As has been widely known through a variety of preaching, that the President also has berkunjug to the location of the haze. This is a form of real action from the government in clearing up air pollution.
Based on the information I read on any news site online, the current Indonesian Government has also deployed 25 units of planes to conduct water bombing in Sumatra and Kalimantan. The plane is the help of the National Agency for Disaster management (BNPB), the Indonesian National Army, as well as the National SAR Agency (Basarnas). The aircraft has a capacity of 4,500 liters of water.
Forest fires now engulfing Indonesia from Riau, South Sumatra, Jambi, West Kalimantan, Central Kalimantan, South Kalimantan, and East Kalimantan occurs because of the action of burning a large-scale which is made to open the land for new plantations.
Once again, are the two things that are different between the masks with the clearance of the smog. However
