HDR Photo Contest Announcement

Can we get a more elaborate definition for what you consider HDR? Neither of the two submissions so far are actually HDR in my opinion.

As per Wikipedia:
"The two primary types of HDR images are computer renderings and images resulting from merging multiple low-dynamic-range (LDR)[5] or standard-dynamic-range (SDR)[6] photographs."

IE, merging together multiple exposures of the same scene. The two submissions already posted are only single frames.

You can use software on your phone these days to make "HDR" images. Yes they are not true "HDR" but this way gives more people the option to get the effect. And it is not far off from the real thing. I am fine if people use an app to achieve the effect.
