Here's How to Prevent Vertigo Recurrence
- Avoid sudden head movements.
- Get used to getting up from a sleeping position gradually, by sitting first.
- Position the head slightly higher than the body while sleeping.
- Avoid stretching the neck.
- Avoid bending movements.
Foods That Can Cause Vertigo
- High Sugar Food. Foods and drinks high in sugar, such as those containing honey, granulated sugar, brown sugar such as cakes and soda, should be avoided by people with vertigo.
- Foods and Drinks Containing Caffeine
- Alcoholic beverages
- Foods High in Salt.
One thing that really needs to be considered is that Vertigo can recur at any time and last from a few minutes to hours. Recurrence of vertigo can be triggered by changes in head position as well as some diseases such as problems with the inner ear and head.
