Today happens to be World Health Day... Hmm very remarkable. Health is wealth and any healthy nation is truly a wealthy one. The theme of this year's World Health day is "HEALTH FOR ALL" emphasizing on Universal Health Coverage for all countries of the world.

Health according to World Health Organization (WHO)

Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.

Though this definition has been subjected to several controversies, but it's undeniably true that Health lays emphasis on our well-being and is a basic factor needed for everyone in our society today. The world will simply be the best place if adequate Health care services is obtained at ease in all parts of the world.

The essence of this celebration is to draw our minds to the Health issues all over the world. Here in Africa, in Nigeria precisely the keys to achieving Health for all is in our hands. Our Primary Health Care Services will play a vital role in achieving a universal health coverage, Primary Health Care (PHC) is key and more attention must be paid to PHCs for an enhancement, achievement and sustainability of health for all.
