Today, @ConsciousAngel7 and I went to get Accupuncture. 😏😄

This is another one of those things I never would have gone near, but Ingrid talked me into it and now I love it! Go figure! 😮

Accupuncture is essentially the act of taking tiny needles into the body.

These are not the same needles people are used to when donating blood or anything like that... They are so small that they are kind of hard to see without zooming in like this. 😯

One the needles are in, you take a nap.

This is the best part. At first, some of the needles can be “tingly” or “electric” or just straight up “hurt like crazy”. It’s your call whether you want to leave them all in for the full treatment, or have the painful ones taken out. I’ve always left them all in except for one that was in the very end of my finger which hurt really bad 😮

If I can go my whole life thinking this is a pain trap, and now I can learn to love the healing of it, so can you!

When these needles go in, they are put in specific energetic points of the body. These are called the meridian points. Some may have way too much energy built up that needs to be released, kind of like an energetic “knot” in the body. When the needles go in, the energy is allowed to move around and leave if it needs to. What you’ll likely notice is that you really feel the needles for the first 2-5 minutes and then when you wake up from the nap they let you take, you feel brand new and don’t even feel the needles until you take them out again! 🤯

accupuncture really helped my sis with some knee problems that she had been told required surgery. better option for sure.

p.s. grow some hair.

That's awesome... you look like an alien with antennas coming out of your head! I tried it once for a sports injury but it didn't really help for an acute injury. I need to try it again for my overall wellbeing!
